Are you an organizer for a fair, fundraiser, or festival in the USA? Disc Dog Events can provide the disc dog (Frisbee dog) entertainment that draws in crowds of cheering spectators at your event in a few different ways. Please read on.
Disc Dog Events is run by Adrian and Tracy Custer. We have been involved in disc dogging as a sport and a profession for over a decade. We currently compete at a Championship Level with our many dogs. We have World Champion and International Championship titles with our dogs. Many of our Champion Dogs are from Animal Shelters and Rescues and we support the Animal Shelter and Recscue causes in many ways. We perform professional dog shows with our sub-contractors as the Custer's Flying K9s, aka The Flying K9s.
 
1. Halftime Entertainment: Disc Dog Events offer the Custer's Flying K9s for World Class Crowd Pleasing Disc Dog Halftime Entertainment at your sporting event. We can adjust our show length to fit your needs and can perform on indoor and outdoor surfaces without any set up time or props. We bring the World Class tricks that make the crowd go 'WOW!" and then cheer for the high flying dogs as they chase down the discs. Grass, Field Turf, Basketball Court, Carpet, Yeah we do that! We choose to not perform our dogs on gravel, pavement, or concrete for the dogs' safety.
2. Ground Act: Disc Dog Events offer the Custer's Flying K9s for a Ground Act. Do you want to have Multiple Shows of Professionally Run High Energy Disc Dog and Trick Dog Shows over the period of a day or more at your event? That is our Ground Act. We bring in our equipment and set a "Stage" for scheduled 15-30 minute dog shows. With a staging tent, field barriers, and sound system we provide high energy family friendly dog shows that are customized to entertain the attendees of your event all in about the space of a basketball court. Outdoors, Indoors, Grass, Field Turf, Carpet, Cushioned Surface, Yeah we do that!
Do you have other performances that need to use the same space? From a full break down in-between our shows, to sharing our equipment with other acts, or for general announcements, whatever. We are in the business of making your event awesome and will work with you.
3. Disc Dog Competition: Disc Dog Events can host an Internationally Sanctioned Disc Dog Competition at your event that will provide a few hours or up to a weekend full of fun eye candy for your event. We have years of experience running disc dog competitions and have hosted and provided acclaimed judging for competitions for the many international disc dog competition series: Skyhoundz, UFO, United States Disc Dog Nationals, and the Ashley Whippet Invitational. We can also do unsanctioned and/or custom events indoors and out. From a small Local Competition with 20 teams to a World Championship Qualifier with over 100 teams arriving from all over the country, Disc Dog Events can bring the fun filled spectacle of the Disc Dog Sport to your event. Disc Dog Events will promote the competition on line and provide press releases for the competition we may also be available for a news interview.
We are self contained once the competition date and time are set and all we need is a sport safe field of 70x40 yards (at a minimum) where we can let the dogs fly and make some noise. It is also important to have parking for competitors nearby the competition field, or transports for people and equipment available.
Coordinating a disc dog competition with your event takes planning between many parties and not all dates are available due to other long standing competitions in the region and qualified judges' availability. Disc Dog Events and Custer's Flying K9s are centrally based out of the St. Louis, Missouri area and want to provide entertainment for your event.
- On the Halftime Entertainment and Ground act side, you will find that we offer a great value for the skill and professionalism we offer compared to other dog acts. We don't water down our show with talk and lame down time, we beef it up with high flying disc catching dogs and transition it with awesome tricks. We bring a unique and consistent high energy level to the crowd. The only messages we ever push are to give animal shelter or rescue dog a chance, and some dog safety info for the kids. No preaching, just jamming.
Disc Dog Events and Custer's Flying K9s carry event insurance. All our dogs are up to date on all shots, vet checked for performance fitness, and handled by experienced trainers that do not abuse their dogs in any way while performing or any other time. Positivity and Love makes a difference that anyone can see, even from the back row.
